Full Time Position Immediate Opening The Town of Wellton is now taking applications for a Permit Clerk. Applicants must have exceptional communication/interpersonal skills, diplomatic skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, computer literate, strong Microsoft Office skills, be well organized and have knowledge and experience in office practices, filing, keyboarding, computer operation, including word processing, business communications and research techniques. Under general supervision, will perform technical work of moderate difficulty in office work pertaining to Planning and Zoning Regulations, and other department related codes and ordinance. Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; One (1) year of experience in zoning activities; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary depending on experience.
