NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
OCTOBER 7, 2003

Notice is hereby given to the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of Wellton, and the general public that the Council will hold a regular meeting, on Tuesday, the 7th day of October 2003 at 6:00 p.m., open to the public, in the Wellton Town Hall Council Chambers, 28634 Oakland Avenue, Wellton, Arizona. The Council will discuss and may take action on the following matters:
DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS
1. Approval of Cash Disbursements List
A. For the month of September 2003
2. Approval of Minutes
A. For the Special Meeting of July 22, 2003
B. For the Special Meeting of September 9, 2003
C. For the Regular Meeting of September 16, 2003
3. Discussion and possible action to approve the request from the Yuma Foothills Moose Lodge #1627 for a closed course golf tournament on Sunday, December 7, 2003, all proceeds to benefit the Greater Foothills Helping Hands.
4. Discussion and possible action to enter into an agreement with Yuma County, Office of Emergency Management for funds provided by or through the Office of Emergency Management to the Town of Wellton, a sub-grantee, pursuant to the United States Department of Homeland Security, Office for Domestic Preparedness for all fiscal years to be renewable on an annual basis.
5. Discussion and action to certify the FY 2003-04 First Quarter Revenue Collection Report for the Wellton Municipal Court #1443 of Yuma County authorizing fees due to the Arizona State Treasurer in the amount of $1,177.50 pursuant to A.R.S. 12-116-4 (HB 2533).
6. Discussion to consider adopting a resolution similar to the City of Somerton’s resolution to request the repeal of 2003 Legislation regarding sharing of Municipal Court Collections.
7. Discussion to consider annexing the McCullough Family Trust property adjacent to and including the Public Works Yard/Water Plant property.
8. Discussion to consider holding a special election to establish a Capital Projects Accumulation Fund.
