staff providing customer service in the area.
4. Recess as Common Council of the Town of Wellton and convene a public
hearing as the Board of Adjustment of the Town of Wellton to consider the
following item:
A. REZONING CASE #03-201: Mr.
Glen T. Curtis, requests a rezoning of the property described as: That
part laying south of the Wellton Mohawk Canal of the South Half of Section
7, Township 9 South, Range 18 West, G&SRB&M, Yuma County, Arizona,
located south of the Wellton Mohawk Canal, west of Avenue 29E, east of Avenue
28E and north of County 12th Street, from Agricultural District to Residential
District for the purpose of developing a residential subdivision and 9-hole
golf course.
B. Adjourn as Board of Adjustment
for the Town of Wellton and reconvene as the Common Council of the Town of
Wellton.
Discussion and action to consider recommendations of the Board of Adjustment
for the Town of Wellton in the matter of Rezoning Case #03-201.
6. Discussion
and review of Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) requirements:
Proclamation by the Mayor of the Town of Wellton proclaiming April 20-26,
2003 as CDBG Week with a celebration on April 24th in Chandler, Arizona.
7. Discussion
and possible action to consider request by winter visitor residents for
a closed course golf tournament to be held in the first part of December,
2003 to benefit the Christmas Basket program.
